Aladdin Sane
Onlangs is er een aflevering gemaakt van de surrealistische animatieserie Spongebob Squarepants, waarin Spongebob en Patrick Zeester zich als Aladdin Sane uitdossen. Een mijlpaal in de toch al zo rijke geschiedenis van Bowie. Het zal nog wel even duren voordat deze aflevering ook bij ons te zien zal zijn. Iets om naar uit te kijken.
Bowie schreef hierover in zijn webjournal:
It's happened. At last. I've hit the Holy Grail of animation gigs. Yesterday I got to be a character on....tan-tara...SpongeBob SquarePants. Oh Yeah!! We, the family, are thrilled. Nothing else need happen this year, well, this week anyway.
My character in this special longform (I think a half hour special) show is called 'Lord Royal Highness'. Alrighteee!! It won't air unfortunately for another eight or nine months but then, watch out.
